GOOD NEIGHBOR PARADE   What do you get when you add music, floats, crowds, food, children, clowns, horses, dogs, candy, great coupons and the frontier theme?  Answer:  A wonderful day at our 41^st Annual Chamber Parade.  We send our compliments to the people who participated and came to watch the parade.  With the thousands of people involved and a huge line up, it was heartwarming in spite of the wind and occasional drizzle; we had so much neighborly fun and patience from almost everyone. It was one huge party. We want to thank our Lansing Police Department, Public Works, LNN Channel 4, Music Lab, Ultra Foods, Lion’s Club, Lansing Auto, Denise and Dennis DiSanto, Ivy Drobac, Barry Bergstrom, Dave & Joyce Tiltges, Kelly Campos, Ron Schaap, Karen Kleine, Donna Brum, Jerry Hartog, Al Phillips, Harry Morton, Charles Johnson, Pete Krilich and everyone else who gave a helping hand.  Watch Channel 4 for the parade broadcast and check the pictures on our website.

And the Award Goes To: 
The Chamber heard from so many people that this was the best theme and best decorated parade in years. The judges had a difficult job with so many creative frontier decorations.  After much deliberation they selected the above entries for awards. Certificates are available at the Chamber office for all the winners who were not at the Good Neighbor Bash to accept them. Congratulations everyone on a great job!
